Kourtney Kardashian Says “KUWTK” Became A “Toxic Environment”

Kourtney Kardashian opened up about the “toxic environment” of the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” set, which was why she decided to step back.

Kourtney Kardashian is ready to get into the exact reason why she decided not to star as a series regular on her family’s reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, anymore: things just got way too toxic. In the latest issue of Vogue Arabia, the cover star opened up about her decision to take a step back from the show.

“I have been filming the show non-stop for 14 years,” she said. “I was feeling unfulfilled and it became a toxic environment for me to continue to have it occupy as much of my life as it was.” Keeping Up With The Kardashians premiered back in 2007 when Kourtney was 28 years old. Since then, the show has captured a ton of major life milestones for the entire Kardashian-Jenner family—but it’s also captured some of the moments they’d like to forget. Kourtney decided that she valued her privacy too much to continue having every moment of her life documented on television. In March, she announced that she would no longer serve as a series regular, choosing instead to focus on her own projects.

“Privacy is something I have come to value and finding that balance of private moments with being on a reality show is hard,” she explained. “People have this misconception that I don’t want to work, which isn’t true…I am following my happiness and putting my energy into that which makes me happy.” Now that she’s got a lot more down time, she’s making sure to always give her kids her undivided attention. “I always try my absolute best when I’m with my kids not to be on my phone, to be present in what we’re doing, and have those moments where you’re looking in each other’s eyes and connecting,” she said. “It’s so important. I usually take one day on the weekend when we have no plans, we hang out at the house in pajamas or sweats. We sleep in. I like to not be on a schedule on that day.”

Marvel’s Moon Knight Show Reportedly Starts Filming This Fall

Marvel Studios will reportedly begin filming on the Moon Knight TV show for Disney+ later this year, giving them more time to cast Marc Spector.

Filming on Marvel’s upcoming Moon Knight show for Disney+ will reportedly begin this fall. Once Phase 3 concluded last summer, Marvel Studios finally began confirming what their plans were for Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Movies like Black Widow and Thor: Love and Thunder were officially announced, while the studio also revealed the first wave of MCU Disney+ shows. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and WandaVision will be the first to arrive in 2020, but many others are in development.

Although not part of the initial lineup announcement, a solo series for Marc Spector was revealed to be in the works last year. Marvel didn’t give a timetable for when Moon Knight will be released at that time but it has started to come together since. Jeremy Slater (The Umbrella Academy) was hired as the lead writer and a Moon Knight casting search is underway to find the man who will be beneath the striking all-white costume. But, fans of the (potentially insane) superhero who believes he gets his powers from the Egyptian moon god Khonshu still do not know when the series will debut.

Harley Quinn Show Casts Its Mr. Freeze & Catwoman For Season 2

DC Universe’s Harley Quinn animated series has cast Alfred Molina and Sanaa Lathan as Mr. Freeze and Catwoman in the show’s upcoming second season. DC Universe‘s Harley Quinn animated series has cast Alfred Molina and Sanaa Lathan as Mr. Freeze and Catwoman in the show’s upcoming second season. Harley Quinn seems to be everywhere lately with the show’s first and second seasons sandwiching the Bird of Prey movie. But the animated version, which doubled as the first original animated show on DC Universe, seems to be the biggest hit with both fans and critics. It also features an impressive cast that includes Kaley Cuoco, Lake Bell, Alan Tudyk, Diedrich Bader, Ron Funches, Tony Hale, J.B. Smoove, Jason Alexander, Giancarlo Esposito, Jim Rash, Christopher Meloni, and Wanda Sykes among many others. The show follows the post-break-up adventures of Harley Quinn as she seeks to legitimize herself in the eyes of the Legion of Doom so that she can shed her life as a sidekick and become a villain in her own right. Standing in her way is the ever-present Batman and Justice League as well as the machinations of her ex, the Joker. The first season saw Harley build a villain team of her own featuring the likes of Poison Ivy, Dr. Psycho, Clayface, and King Shark as she duked it out with the Joker on the streets of Gotham. In addition to her crew, the season was also stuffed with hilarious takes on DC characters ranging from the iconic Bane and Riddler to the absurd Kite Man and Frank the Plant.

Avengers: Endgame Gets The Simpsons Treatment In Poster For Upcoming Episode

A new poster has arrived for the latest upcoming episode of The Simpsons, and Avengers: Endgame fans might just notice some similarities.

Avengers: Endgame gets The Simpsons treatment in poster for upcoming episode. Now in its 31st season, the longest-running sitcom in television history shows no signs of letting up any time soon, and fans couldn’t be happier as a result.

Much has changed in the world since the first official episode of The Simpsons launched back in 1989. Yet somehow, without missing a beat, the series has effortlessly managed to remain relevant and incorporate so many of the changes that pop culture brings to our day to day lives. This ability to remain up to date and relevant is likely one of the major reasons why The Simpsons has continued to find success over the years. This paired with an uncanny ability to produce laughs from its audiences ensures that time and time again, people will continue to watch whenever The Simpsons is on. Even a recent move to Disney’s notoriously family-friendly subscription streaming service hasn’t dulled The Simpsons’ edge, though there were indeed numerous complaints early on from fans regarding the Mouse House’s handling of the series. Nonetheless, it does seem that there isn’t much that The Simpsons haven’t satirized and this key quality is unlikely to change any time soon.

New Mutants Movie Final Cut Is Done & Director Is Happy With It

Costar Anya Taylor-Joy says the final cut of New Mutants has been finished and writer-director Josh Boone is happy with the X-Men movie spinoff.

Anya Taylor-Joy says The New Mutants‘ final cut is done and director Josh Boone is happy with how the X-Men movie spinoff turned out. After more than two years of delays (though it feels even longer), Fox’s final X-Men film will finally open in theaters this spring. Co-written by Boone and Knate Lee, The New Mutants comic book movie revolves around a group of five troubled mutants who find themselves trapped in a secret facility against their will. Taylor-Joy costars as Magik opposite Maisie Williams as Wolfsbane, Charlie Heaton as Cannonball, Blu Hunt as Mirage, and Henry Zaga as Sunspot. Originally scheduled to open in Spring 2018, The New Mutants was delayed by Fox to allow for reshoots that were – reportedly – meant to bring the film closer to Boone’s Nightmare on Elm Street-inspired horror vision. However, Disney’s subsequent purchase of Fox’s movie and TV IPs led to New Mutants being pushed further and further back until its reshoots were cancelled and it landed on an April 2020 date instead. But at the end of the day, it appears Boone and his cast have made their peace with the way things worked out.

Kevin Hart Starts Filming First Movie After His Accident Last Year

Kevin Hart arrives to start filming his first movie since his car accident in September of 2019, which left the actor with serious back injuries. Actor and comedian Kevin Hart arrived on set to commence filming on a new project, five months after surviving a near-catastrophic car accident. The stand-up got his first big break from Judd Apatow in 2001 on the often-forgotten TV series Undeclared. Since then, he’s starred in major blockbusters (and their sequels) like Ride Along, Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle, and the animated hit The Secret Life of Pets. His return to filming comes on the heels of multiple announcements for future projects, such as a third Ride Along, two new TV series, and a remake of the 1988 comedy The Great Outdoors. However, the actor nearly lost everything on the morning of September 1st, 2019, when a Plymouth Barracuda carrying Hart and two others flipped off Mullholland Highway in Los Angeles rolled down an embankment and landed on its roof. The top of the vehicle was nearly destroyed on impact, according to video the actor later shared.  Although Hart was not driving the car, he still suffered from “major back injuries,” requiring months of physical rehab.
